Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to join our team at Neepawa Freshmart. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties.
- Market Research and Planning: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales, plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Staffing and Development: Determine staffing requirements, resolve issues that may arise, conduct performance reviews, supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Electronic mail, MS Outlook.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Hardworking, time management, client focus, organized.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations, provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees, facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
Requirements: Permanent, 35 hours per week, English language.
