About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at The Extell Group Corporation. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of residential projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work in progress to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to their satisfaction.
  • Cost Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects and ensure they are within budget.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
