Batter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Batter Operator to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing and applying French Fry batter to meet product specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment associated with batter mixing and application.
- Work closely with the ingredient room and forklift operator to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Assist the Fryer Operator with boil-outs and maintain inventory of raw ingredients.
- Monitor batter consistency and adjust mixing procedures as needed.
- Formulate ingredient mixtures for different products and maintain documentation.
- Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
- Complete routine product testing and record data in OSI PI.
- Able to work shift work on a rotating basis.
- Effective written, oral, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with process control testing and entering results into SAP/OSI PI.
- Ability to use quality test results to adjust the process and deliver for the customer.
- Must have a proven history of safe work habits and lead by example.
- Able to safely follow heat stress policy guidelines.
- Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting 40-50 lbs when required.
- Able to climb stairs or ladders to check equipment and product.
