Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is between $74,618 and $107,264 per year, with consideration given to the qualifications, experience, and internal equity review of applicants.

Job Description

The Indigenous Recruiter will play a critical role in implementing Interior Health's Indigenous Employee Experience strategy across the Interior region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with IH leaders/managers to promote work opportunities to Indigenous candidates
  • Providing Indigenous-focused candidate sourcing advice and guidance to hiring managers and other members of the Recruitment team
  • Prescreening and short-listing Indigenous candidates as per manager specifications
  • Assisting the recruitment team's marketing specialists with development of culturally sensitive marketing materials
  • Providing HR guidance to managers on interview and selection of external Indigenous applicants
  • Supporting and guiding managers and members of the Recruitment team around Section 42
