We are seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to join our team at MarshallZehr Group Inc. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships and client relationships. Your expertise in commercial credit and consultative selling will be essential in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive networking and market research.
- Maintain and expand existing client base by delivering exceptional customer service and value-added solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lending partners to source risk-adjusted financing opportunities that meet their investment mandates.
- Ensure borrowers understand the terms and conditions of mortgage agreements.
- 5+ years' experience in business development or account management in the real estate lending/mortgage industry or finance.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and pipeline simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of construction and development processes, associated financing metrics, and financial modeling skills.
- Drafting and reviewing legal financing documents.
