About This Role:

NBS Steel Framing & Drywall Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team. As a Construction Manager at NBS Steel Framing & Drywall Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of various projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
  • Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Prepare reports
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
