Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Home Construction Project Manager to join our team at NBS STEEL FRAMING & DRYWALL LTD. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Inspect subcontractors' work to guarantee that it meets the required standards and complies with plans and specifications.
  • Develop and implement project budgets, managing costs and resources effectively.
  • Oversee various trade works during home construction or renovation activities, ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and execute business strategies, including financial and operating plans.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and bids for home construction, renovation, and restoration projects, taking into account customer needs and market conditions.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, architects, and engineers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Maintain detailed records of supplies and trade contractors, ensuring efficient procurement and management of resources.
  • Ensure all necessary construction permits are obtained, adhering to local regulations and guidelines.
  • Direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
