Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team at Trail Appliances. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and delivery departments, ensuring seamless execution of our logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the performance of warehouse and delivery teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely delivery of products.
  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of warehouse and delivery staff.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Warehouse management or logistics and supply chain diploma.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and familiarity with WMS and RF systems.
  • Current or previous forklift certification.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Strong health and safety background.
