Beverage Development Lead

As a Beverage Development Lead at Service Inspired Restaurants, you will be responsible for driving beverage efforts by Brand Concept. You will work collaboratively with the Concept Leader, Operations, and Marketing teams to develop and implement innovative beverage programs that meet company objectives.

Beverage Development Responsibilities
  • Organize and conduct business reviews/ideation sessions with beverage vendors to identify new opportunities and optimize relationships.
  • Effectively communicate new programs to marketing, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage potential new local vendor partnerships to ensure optimum relationships exist to support innovation, supply, pricing, and programs.
  • Identify, compile, and analyze insights and pricing from competitive beverage programs quarterly to inform strategy.
  • Access new beverage offerings and product proposals from vendor partners and present insights back to the team.
  • Edit current recipes and input new ones to maintain up-to-date beverage menus.
  • Communicate new and obsolete ingredients to Purchasing, IT, and Operations to ensure smooth inventory management.
  • Facilitate the beverage activation process, including system updates, pricing, and recipe adherence across all SIR concepts.
  • Develop and deliver education programs for operations teams to enhance their knowledge of beverage development and implementation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a comparable industry.
  • University degree in Business Administration or other related field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in restaurant operations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and beverage innovation.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
