About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse at Bethany Care Society is responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents, their families, and volunteers. This role requires a passion for delivering high-quality care, promoting resident independence, and maintaining dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to establish and prioritize care plans.
- Accurately document resident care, assessments, and interventions in accordance with Bethany policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings and care conferences to advocate for resident choice and share knowledge.
- Lead, develop, and coach employees to enable a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Previous LPN experience is preferred.
- Active registration with CLPNA and current CPR certification.
- Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
