Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Special Aide to join our Patient Food Services team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a Special Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly, distribution, and cleanup of patient meals and nourishments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and distribute patient meals and nourishments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure work areas, equipment, and storage areas remain organized and sanitary
  • Function within Health & Safety guidelines to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients
  • Collaborate with the food service team to achieve exceptional food services
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance food safety knowledge and skills
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Food Safety Training Certificate required
  • Food Service Worker/Dietary Aide Certificate preferred
  • Six months experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting
