About the Job

We are looking for an experienced patient care assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments
  • Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds and keeping areas clean
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and ensure their safety
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients as required
  • Answer call signals and determine patients' needs promptly

This role requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain attention to detail. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
