We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Indian Masala Bar & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Manage kitchen operations to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Work Environment: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
- Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
