The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Plant Manager and President, participating in management and manufacturing responsibilities, and contributing to the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Operations Coordination: The Assistant Plant Manager will be involved in coordinating plant operations and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations related to labour standards, safety, environmental practices, and corporate guidelines.
  • Management Support: This role will provide support to the management team, including flexibility in work schedules during the week.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Coordinating plant operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
  • SUPPORTING THE PLANT MANAGER AND PRESIDENT IN THEIR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES.
  • Participating in management and manufacturing responsibilities.
  • Actively contributing to the hiring process.

This role requires experience in the sheet metal industry, as well as proficiency in using measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, height gauges, and micrometres. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and a valid driver's license are also essential. The ability to alternate between factory and office work is required.

Any combination of training and experience will be considered for this challenging and rewarding role.
