Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Polos Social Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Ensure that staff are aware of and adhere to our quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon and that our service standards are consistently met
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules and procedures
    • Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and equipment
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment with a focus on customer service and quality food
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and ability to work with diverse customer groups
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
    • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
