Job Title: General Manager

Cogir Immobilier is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a rental building in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of the property, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the property is well-maintained and clean.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the apartment rental process, increasing occupancy rates and resident satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they are informed about building operations and services.
  • Manage rent collection and deposits, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Optimize human resources to support operational and financial efficiency objectives.
  • Plan and execute tenant arrivals and departures, prioritizing safety and security.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Market the property to maintain full occupancy, leveraging your knowledge of the local market.
  • Supervise outside contractors, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of relevant experience in property management.
  • Bilingualism (oral and written) in French and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of property management software, such as Hopem.
  • Experience in personnel management and team leadership.
