Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a rental building in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of the property, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the apartment rental process, increasing occupancy rates and resident satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the complex, keeping residents informed and engaged.
  • Optimize human resources to support operational and financial efficiency objectives.
  • Manage rent collection and deposits according to established standards, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Supervise outside contractors working in the building, ensuring their work meets our high standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve our services and operations.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of relevant experience in property management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bilingualism (oral and written) is essential for effective communication with residents and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • A working knowledge of property management software, such as Hopem, is an asset.
  • Experience in personnel management, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
