About the Role

Terracon Management Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing purchases, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, verify stock availability, and reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, requisition orders, and international purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers.
  • Supply Chain Management: Liaise with Canada Customs, monitor inventory levels, and maintain stock rotation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports, as well as compile inventory reports and conduct quality control.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
