Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Dawat India. As an Ethnic Food Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes, including Cantonese, South Indian, and East Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook ethnic dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses.
  • Plan and execute menus for special events and functions.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Knowledge of ethnic cuisine, including Cantonese, South Indian, and East Indian cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
