Enbridge is seeking a highly skilled Station Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Stations Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective station designs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver station designs that meet or exceed regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical support for station operations, including equipment troubleshooting and performance assessment.
- Lead and participate in engineering assessments, capital and maintenance projects, and design reviews.
- Manage and track engineering design documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with electrical and control groups to ensure design requirements and reviews are met.
- Participate in risk review and asset management sessions to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide support for stations design and operational support functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Applied Science engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of directly related experience in station, pipeline, and system modeling designs.
- P.Eng designation in a Canadian jurisdiction.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in promoting teamwork, gap analysis, and solutions delivery.
- Strong facilitation, project management, and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including CSA Z662, B149.1, CSA B51, API 520/521, and applicable TSSA regulations.
- Several years of progressive experience in related functions for a broader business context.
- Active Ing. designation in Quebec.
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.3 and B31.8, CAN/BNQ D 1784-000-5, B149.15, and B149.6.
- Working knowledge of FMEA, QRA, and HAZOP methodologies for assessing process safety.
- This role requires some travel (10-15%).
- Participate in stations engineering after-hours on-call and provide support for emergency responses after working hours.
