Tilesetters Supervisor

MODENA TILING INC is seeking a skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of tilesetters and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of tilesetters to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
- Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Train and develop tilesetters to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and ensure that these are accurately reflected in project budgets.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that a safe working environment is maintained.
- Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project completion.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week.
