At WRHA Community Health Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in the community.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide nursing care to clients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing services, administration of prescribed treatments, and leadership roles within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to clients in the community, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications as required.
  • Lead the healthcare team in providing high-quality care to clients.
  • Facilitate coordination of client care and discharge.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • 2 years of related recent experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory employment record required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification.
  • Additional wound care and chronic disease management education.
  • Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of community settings, including homes, schools, and healthcare clinics. A valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license is required.

The ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and prioritize care for individuals or groups is essential for this role.

A reliable motor vehicle suitable for all environmental conditions is required.
