Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Expert and Account Strategist to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences.

About the Role

This is a key position that will play a critical role in developing clinical education materials, providing expertise and clinical insights on devices and procedures throughout their life cycle, and driving business growth through strategic account planning and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Certify centers, physicians, and staff, as well as EW personnel, according to established guidelines.
  • Interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and proctors to ensure high-quality clinical investigations.
  • Provide education on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques, and develop training curriculum, materials, and tools.
  • Conduct business intelligence analysis and provide training and guidance to new Field Clinical Specialists.
  • Plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts in partnership with Sales and Sales Management teams.
  • Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
  • Liaise with NSM and Sales Specialists to monitor clinical support activities, market changes, and competitive activity.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related medical device and/or clinical experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Training experience in a clinical/technical environment.
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Able to work in a team environment and interact professionally with all organizational levels.
