About the Role:

VON Canada is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our Assisted Living Program. As a PSW, you will provide care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light household duties
  • Monitor and maintain household safety
  • Provide respite care and support to clients and their families

Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Services Worker (DSW) or Home Support Worker (Level I, II, III) or Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate required
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
  • Current Criminal Records Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check is required
