Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Sprucedale Care Centre Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including changing non-sterile dressings.
  • Provide companionship and social support to residents.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate and Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
  • Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres.
  • Health care institution, facility or clinic.
  • Rural area.
