Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Childventures Meadowvale Early Learning Academy Inc.

**Job Summary:**
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced early childhood educator to work with children aged 0-12 years in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.

**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and reliability.
