Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our web, mobile, and back-end applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using our Test Automation Framework
  • Design and execute manual testing strategies to ensure the quality of our applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing strategies remain effective
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering with a focus on automated testing
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Robot Framework, SoapUI, Selenium)
  • Experience with development/scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java)
  • Experience with database technologies and testing (e.g. MongoDB, Oracle)
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and JIRA
