  • Salary: $48.68 - $56.30 per hour

Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive behavioural care plans and interventions for patients on our Behavioural Neurology unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing training to staff and students related to behaviour support, conducting clinical assessments, and collaborating with clients and their care partners to develop individualized behaviour management interventions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Registration as a Behaviour Analyst with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
  • Minimum three years demonstrated expertise and knowledge working with individuals with various neurodegenerative diseases, including dementia, and those with acute behavioural changes and associated responsive behaviours
  • Experience/familiarity with behavioural, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental assessments relating to responsive behaviours
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating behavioural support programs, quality improvement, and education for team members
  • Demonstrated ability and experience conducting clinical research
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical-reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and interprofessional collaboration skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), and use of health information systems
