About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Technician to join our team at Grounded Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participating in field surveys and inspections, and preparing construction specifications and estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Engineering Specifications and Drawings: Assist in creating detailed engineering specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in Field Surveys and Inspections: Conduct field surveys and inspections to gather data and information for engineering projects.
  • Prepare Construction Specifications and Estimates: Prepare detailed construction specifications and estimates to ensure accurate project costs and timelines.
  • Prepare Engineering Designs and Drawings: Create detailed engineering designs and drawings to support construction projects.
  • Prepare Project Schedules: Develop project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering projects.
  • Supervise or Conduct Field Surveys, Inspections, and Testing: Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide Consultation Services: Provide consultation services to government and other organizations on engineering-related matters.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a related field, such as engineering or architecture.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
