Job Title: Law Clerk

Bukhari Law Professional Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team.

Job Summary

The Law Clerk will provide administrative support to our lawyers and assist with various tasks related to legal proceedings, document preparation, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Research and Document Preparation: Assist lawyers with legal research, document preparation, and filing.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties related to legal matters.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to lawyers, including maintaining filing systems, preparing court documents, and performing other clerical duties.
  • Court Proceedings: Assist with court proceedings, including preparing trial briefs, drafting legal correspondence, and representing clients in small claims court.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of court proceedings, client interactions, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
