Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse runs efficiently and effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Conduct performance reviews of team members.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Ability to relocate.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Work Setting: Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. You will work in a team environment and be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Transportation/Travel Information: You will be required to travel and work in a variety of settings, including warehouses and offices. You will be expected to have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including warehouses and offices. You will be expected to be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate who is accurate, flexible, and proactive. You will be required to work in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
