Freestyle Terrain Park Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Freestyle Terrain Park Attendant at Fernie Alpine Resort. As a key member of our mountain operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests in the rail park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily maintenance and upkeep of the rail park features and skier/boarder cross
  • Inspect features to ensure they are safe for public use
  • Build and maintain take-offs, landings, and other features
  • Work closely with other departments, including grooming, lifts, and ski patrol
  • Maintain accurate records of daily maintenance and park operations
  • Ensure that mountain operations are aware of park opening and closing times
  • Conduct rider counts and monitor park activity
  • Perform daily upkeep of all fences, signage, hit markers, and features
Requirements:
  • Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance or Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors certification required
  • Freestyle certification and Terrain Park Builders course, an asset
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, physically capable
  • Dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic professional with strong customer service skills
  • Ski industry experience, an asset
  • Good interpersonal skills, working in a team environment
  • Punctual and reliable
