Key Responsibilities- Manage a panel of hospitalist patients, providing comprehensive care and coordination of community-based care.
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
As a Hospitalist Family Medicine Physician, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to patients with a range of medical conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and other physicians, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or proof of alternative coverage.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
