About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agriculture Shop Foreman to join our team at Brandt. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective supervision of our service operations to meet quality standards and productivity requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Service Department Operations: Oversee the daily activities of our service technicians and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate excellent leadership and coaching skills to motivate and develop your team.
  • Customer Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customer complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and repair all special tools and recommend new tooling as required.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and schedule in-house technician training and assist in the development of our service technicians.
  • Performance Management: Assist in providing performance feedback and disciplinary recommendations for service technicians and staff.
  • Financial Management: Bill approximately 50% of available time and assist in the management of service department finances.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience as a Service Technician, Journeyman certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and coaching skills, ability to use standard desktop applications, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial principles related to service department operations and familiarity with company (John Deere Agriculture) and competitive products.
