**Reports to**: Agriculture Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain excellent attendance record
- Maintain high level of communication with supervisor & co-workers
- Supervise field crew employees to ensure that work completed meets company and a pre-determined quality standard
- Ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks and receive applicable training on tools and equipment
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and work with Production Manager/Shop Supervisor to carry out disciplinary actions if the need arises
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Welding or mechanical experience an asset
- Operate grinders, power saws and other hand tools
- Install Back of Barn equipment, cow mats, feed pushers, stalls, fans, etc
- Accurate use of square, levels, angle finder and other measuring tools related to specific area (in both Metric & Imperial)
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Attention to detail, ability to problem solve
- Resolve quality problems or concerns in a timely fashion to meet project timelines

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, procedures and practices
- Knowledge of materials and strong understanding of metals
- Skilled with numbers regarding accurate measurements, checking drawings, counting parts and weights
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs

Ability to act with as well as promote ethical behavior

Ability to adjust to changing project requirements and plan accordingly

Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English clearly
- Available to work away from home Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Local or willing to relocate

**Health & Safety Responsibilities**:

- Active participation in company safety program

Expected Compensation: Based on experience $22-32

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
