Insurance Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Tom Burnside - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Work closely with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals, including developing and executing marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in the insurance industry, preferably in outside sales or inside sales representative roles.
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Property and Casualty license (preferred, must be able to obtain).
