Project Management Director

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Project Management Director at Bravo Target Safety. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of project management functions, including supervising a team of project managers, ensuring project management planning documents are consistently used throughout the company, and working closely with the Manager of Project Controls to ensure project margin targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Champion integration of Corporate Purpose, Mission, and Values into decision-making
- Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to the project management team
- Ensure project management planning documents are consistently used throughout the company
- Work closely with Manager of Project Controls to ensure project margin targets are met
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership to inspire and guide the organization and its employees
- Assist with building project scopes, including resources, planning, and execution of projects
- Research and champion new tools and technology
- Be present, visible, and engaged in our locations and work sites
- Directly interface with customers pertaining to work execution, meeting contractual obligations, and building confidence with customers
- Assess project needs readiness, audit completion of projects, and resolve customer issues
- Develop and present project close-out reports to customers
- Attend customer meetings (pre-job, kick-off, progress, close-out, etc.)
- Uphold company rules, policies, and procedures for quality and safety
- Travel to Bravo Target facilities and customer sites
- Deliver effective presentations and facilitate training
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Post-secondary education in Business, Science, or Engineering (relevant equivalent qualifications will be reviewed and considered)
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Industrial Facility customers; preferably with safety personnel and equipment
- Minimum of 5 years' experience directing, leading, and coordinating people, equipment, and work processes
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Designation is an asset
- Professional certifications such as CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) or equivalent is an asset
- Demonstrated competency with all HSE concepts and principles
- Previous leadership roles demonstrating the ability to drive change and enhance safety culture
- Ability to lead change initiatives and drive process improvements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels
- Ability to successfully complete a fit for duty and fitness to work assessment
