Critical Care Nurse

Job Summary:
Brightshores is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a critical care setting. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in critical care nursing.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Recent critical care experience within the last 5 years.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coronary Care Certificate.
- Community College Diploma in Emergency Nursing or ENC Certification.
