We are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to join our team at Dragon Feast.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food is served to our guests, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- To oversee and manage kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other support personnel.
- To maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- To develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions.
- To manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
- To train and mentor junior staff members, promoting career development and growth.
- To work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure seamless service delivery.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head chef or equivalent position in a similar establishment.
- Demonstrated expertise in culinary arts, including menu planning, cooking techniques, and food safety.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- A strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
