Warehouse Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Western Star Trucks. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse staff and ensuring the efficient processing of inventory and orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming inventory, identifying and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
  • Supervise warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize technology and tools to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure adequate resources and equipment are available to support warehouse operations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with back-order fulfillment and maintenance.
  • Support retail area maintenance and other warehouse-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
