Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Specialist to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and skid-steer loaders.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and secure special attachments.
- Maintain equipment in good working order, performing minor repairs as needed.
- Assist other operators, laborers, and trades as required.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
- CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance Level 2 certifications.
- Ability to quickly identify problem situations and produce workable solutions.
- Reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's abstract.
- Proficient English language skills.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
