Job Title: Tax Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Director to join our team at Patrimonica. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for managing complex tax matters, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and providing expert advice on tax planning for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise tax projects and deadlines
- Prepare and review tax returns for various entities
- Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategy
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects
- Support and train team members on tax-related matters
- Participate in client meetings to understand their needs and expectations
- Review and prepare various tax documents and reports
- Present tax information and results to clients
- Analyze corporate structures and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement tax strategies
- Conduct special projects and assignments as required
- Participate in the preparation of service offers and presentations
- Contribute to the development of tax policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- CPA designation
- University degree in taxation or related field
- Experience in a accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of taxation laws and regulations
- Experience with portfolio companies, trusts, and foundations
- Knowledge of financial planning is an asset
- Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
