Job Title: Tax Compliance Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Compliance Director to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of BRP affiliates with all applicable tax laws and managing the compliance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the compliance of Canadian and American affiliates of the BRP group with tax law, and ensure that they maximize their scientific research and experimental development claims in compliance with applicable tax laws;
- Review and approve BRP's consolidated provision for income taxes;
- Implement the process to ensure BRP's compliance with Canada's Global Minimum Tax Act and corresponding foreign laws;
- Oversee the preparation, revision, and approval of BRP's income tax returns;
- Monitor the preparation of income tax returns by BRP's foreign subsidiaries;
- Manage Canadian/American tax audits and supervise the tax audits of BRP's other foreign affiliates;
- Monitor amendments to tax legislation;
- Maintain an appropriate control environment for the management processes under your responsibility;
- Proceed with the implementation and/or improvement of tax compliance processes.
Requirements:
- Excellent English skills (oral and written);
- Minimum 15 years of experience in tax compliance;
- Good priority management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
