We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 5 O'Clock Tea Inc. as a Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including food and beverage servers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards of quality and excellence.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the workplace is safe and clean.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our food service establishment and attract new customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.
