As a Commercial Banking Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Finance team in the ongoing management of a diverse portfolio of mid-market business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with assessment of financing proposals, due diligence, research and credit applications, and make recommendations that adhere to DUCA's policies and risk guidelines.
* Coordinate with internal and external partners to facilitate the on-going management of credit facilities.
* Conduct credit reviews of existing Members and maintain annual reviews/renewals at or below targeted levels.
* Communicate with Commercial Lending clients on a day-to-day basis, responding to questions and inquiries regarding products, services and advice.
* Assist with portfolio management duties and other day-to-day duties.
* Research and analyze market segments. Monitor market conditions and trends to assess risk.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics. Master's level degree or other related designations are considered an asset.
* 1-3 years' experience in banking or related field considered an asset.
* Previous experience and/or understanding of financial statement analysis.
* Prior Construction lending experience preferred but not a requirement
