Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team at ProViso Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial banking and financial services, with a proven track record of analyzing business processes and translating requirements into functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  • Champion end-to-end requirement cycles to ensure seamless communication between teams
  • Elicit and document requirements through user stories and business process modeling
  • Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications for technical teams to develop and implement
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Work with business stakeholders and technology teams to develop business cases and provide detailed cost estimates
  • Lead from the front to ensure development and testing timelines align with committed dates
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • 6+ years of experience with SQL and ability to run database queries to extract data from MS SQL or Oracle database
  • 6+ years of experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in commercial banking applications and products
  • Experience working with payments processing in a large bank or financial services company
  • Experience working in application systems that support credit advancement, lending, loans, credit adjudication, and customer onboarding
  • Experience in Scrum methodology
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with gap analysis and system diagrams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or information systems
