MNP, a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada, is seeking an Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in financial reporting, auditing, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop technical skills in financial reporting, auditing, and tax planning
- Apply knowledge of accounting standards and regulations to deliver exceptional results
- Manage client files, conduct inventory counts, and perform financial analysis
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for clients
- Assess financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with client engagement teams and build relationships with client contacts
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred)
- Previous accounting-related office experience is considered an asset
- Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset
- Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset
