Job Title: Asset Management Lead

Job Summary:

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Lead to join our Procurement Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our inventory, optimizing our supply chain, and promoting our company values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement best practices for inventory management, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations;
  2. Provide regular reports and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making;
  3. Optimize inventory levels, balancing investment and performance to meet business needs;
  4. Implement and maintain inventory standards across all Ontario and Quebec operations;
  5. Support the implementation of inventory standards across other AEM operations as directed;
  6. Collaborate with mine and regional management to ensure optimal inventory levels support operational needs;
  7. Establish and maintain min/max reorder points to meet established service levels;
  8. Minimize and action slow-moving inventory to optimize inventory turnover;
  9. Establish and meet inventory turnover targets to drive business efficiency;
  10. Ensure accurate and complete inventory documentation, adhering to company procedures;
  11. Lead inventory control efforts, supporting internal and external audits;
  12. Assist with change management initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, Business or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or relevant work experience;
  2. Experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry, with mining experience an asset;
  3. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Work Schedule:

  1. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
  2. Work location: Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Mirabel, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Toronto, North Bay, or Sudbury, with travel to site(s) as required.
