To support this mission, we are seeking a highly skilled Central Systems Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team at our Corporate Office in Toronto.
About the Role:
The Central Systems Support Specialist will play a critical role in managing application integrations for Business Intelligence, ensuring seamless data flow between integration points and revenue streams. This role will work closely with Commercial business stakeholders, Corporate IT teams, and external vendors to enable technologies that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot Central Interface connections, resolving errors and failures to ensure optimal system performance.
- Respond to Service Now Support tickets, investigating and resolving integration point failures to minimize disruptions.
- Escalate risks and propose solutions to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage and track new hotel integrations, system upgrades, and application integration projects to meet business requirements.
- Configure, test, and validate integration points for system upgrades, maintaining accurate checklists and support process documents.
- Perform systems integration certification testing, validating message flow and identifying issues with new services or applications.
- Collaborate with vendors, business analysts, and system owners to ensure successful integration and training of end-users.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience with ORS (Opera Reservation System) / PMS Opera, with technical support experience.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field, with commensurate experience.
- Knowledge of Global Distribution systems is considered an asset.
