About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Administration Officer to join our team at Luso Canadian Charitable Society. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our projects and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our project team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.
  • Office Management: Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Communication: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Setting: Associations and non-profit organizations
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Social Media, Project management software, Database software, Cloud
  • Language: English
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Large workload
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Ability to multitask, Team player
